Welcome

This is a great time to enroll at The Boston Graduate School of Business. Founded on the core principles of achievement through leadership, BGSB represents a paradigm shift in online education. Our greatly enhanced programs combined with an Ivy-League quality education creates a unique learning experience for both students and teachers worldwide. We hope that as you plan your academic and professional future, you will look closely at what BGSB has to offer.

Applying to BGSB

BGSB is committed to making educational opportunity both accessible and affordable worldwide. Admission is based on achievement and promise; applying for financial aid does not diminish a student’s chances of admission. In fact, the Admissions Committee may deem it favorable that a candidate has overcome significant obstacles, financial or otherwise.  All students—American and international—benefit equally from BGSB’s admission and financial aid policies. This is partly due to the generosity of key faculty members who permit a certain number of qualified students to study for low or no tuition.

VRT (Variable Rate Tuition)

Recognizing a growing need for affordable tuition in developing nations, BGSB pioneered the variable rate tuition (VRT) model, which is based on a number of macro-economic and geographic variables. VRT allows students living in developing nations to enjoy the same benefits and quality of education as those living elsewhere. Learn more about VRT.

Criteria

While there is no specific formula for gaining admission to BGSB, we typically admit students that demonstrate a strong intellectual capacity for learning. BGSB come from all corners of the global, and therefore exhibit vastly different credentials. Applicants distinguish themselves for admission in a number of ways, such as academic promise through experience or achievements in study or research. Others are well-rounded and have contributed in different ways to the lives of their schools or communities. Still others demonstrate strength in one particular area as based on their personal circumstances or experiences. Most admitted students rank in the top 10–15 percent of their previous graduating classes, or they have achieved a level of business success sufficient for further academic studies. Above all, the unifying trait of BGSB students is a desire and the ability to learn, and the ability to set goals and achieve them.
